Mr. Ehret practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, and general business litigation matters.  He has represented clients in all aspects of litigation before both state and federal courts, including numerous trials as lead counsel.  Mr. Ehret is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.  Prior to joining Blumling & Gusky, Mr. Ehret was an associate at a mid-size law firm where he practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, complex insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and general defense litigation.

A 2013 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law, Mr. Ehret was awarded the Outstanding Oral Argument Award and Excellence in Legal Writing Award.  He also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing and Analysis.  Mr. Ehret graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2009. He was a founding member of the W&J Mock Trial team and participated in several mock trial competitions throughout Pennsylvania.

Mr. Ehret is a member of the Board of Governors for the Duquesne University School of Law and is a graduate of the ACBA Bar Leadership Class of 2017.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and the respective Construction Law and Civil Litigation Sections.  Mr. Ehret participates in various pro bono activities in the community, including providing legal services for victims in PFA actions and for his hometown Boys and Girls Club of Massillon, Ohio.
