As a member of Blumling & Gusky, LLP’s Construction & Surety Practice Group, Mr. Sassic concentrates his practice in construction, surety, commercial, and business law and litigation. Mr. Sassic has successfully prosecuted and defended construction contract claims, mechanics’ lien claims and surety bond claims on behalf of contractors and sureties. Mr. Sassic also has handled labor and employment issues and successfully prosecuted breach of contract and business actions. Mr. Sassic has several years of experience in manufacturing engineering and project management through his former employment with a company that globally manufactures electrical products and tools and a company that globally manufactures industrial valves for the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries. Mr. Sassic received his B.S.I.E. from the University of Cincinnati in 2000 and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He also is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA), the National Industrial Engineering Honor Society, Alpha Pi Mu, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE).
