As a partner in the firm's Construction and Surety Industry Practice Group, Mr. Levine concentrates his practice in construction claims litigation and surety bond claim litigation. Mr. Levine also has extensive experience in reclamation bond regulatory matters and reclamation bond forfeiture litigation. Mr. Levine represents the interests of reclamation bond sureties throughout the United States. In addition to the construction and surety practice areas, Mr. Levine counsels clients in a broad range of general business matters.
Mr. Levine is a member of the American Bar Association and its Business Law and Litigation Sections and the Forum on the Construction Industry; the Pennsylvania Bar Association and its Civil Litigation and Environmental, Mineral, and Natural Resources Sections; and the Allegheny County Bar Association. Mr. Levine is also a member and sits on the Board of Directors of the Greater Pittsburgh Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.
Mr. Levine received his B.A. in 1989 from the University of Michigan and his J.D., cum laude, in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh where he was a member and Associate Editor of the Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
