As a member of the Firm's Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Furman concentrates his practice in the area of commercial litigation with a focus on resolving business disputes, including valuation disputes, corporate and partnership litigation, intellectual property disputes, bankruptcy litigation, estate litigation and real estate disputes. Prior to joining Blumling & Gusky, Mr. Furman gained a broad range of experience in litigating complex commercial litigation matters including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, injunctions, oil and gas litigation, trademarks, non-competes and unfair competition, land use and zoning, bankruptcy disputes and business torts.
Mr. Furman is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Furman received his B.S. in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from LaRoche College in 1999. He received his J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law in 2002, where he participated in the Northwestern University Legal Aid Project and moot court. Mr. Furman also attended the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law in 2006.
