 K. Bradley Mellor
A partner in the firmıs Construction and Surety Industry Practice Group, Mr. Mellor concentrates his practice in matters related to the construction industry. He has a broad range of experience in negotiating construction contracts and prosecuting and defending construction claims, including surety, delay, acceleration, and design defect claims. He has handled numerous construction cases involving highway and bridge projects, sewage and water treatment plants, industrial and power projects, commercial buildings and hotels. Mr. Mellor has also represented business owners and developers in municipal matters, real estate development issues, purchases and sales of various businesses, and corporate and minority shareholder disputes.

Mr. Mellor is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, its Construction and Surety Section and Court Rules Committee; the Pennsylvania Bar Association; and the American Bar Association, its Forum on the Construction Industry and the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee. He is a member of the Steering Committee for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Mellor is a certified Construction Industry Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a member of the Construction Master Arbitrator Panel. He has handled numerous arbitrations and mediations.

Mr. Mellor received his B.A. in 1985 from Washington and Jefferson College and his J.D. magna cum laude in 1988 from Case Western Reserve University, where he was named to the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to practice in both federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
